ATLANTA, GA – March 3, 2016 – Despite months of research and the use of complicated algorithms, even the most calculated bracket picks can take a detour to Upset City. Hooters vows to #StopBracketSadness this March by inviting college basketball fans to watch the games in their happy place. A place where they can enjoy new mouthwatering stuffed burgers, towers of onion rings and more, served up with warm Hooters Girl hospitality. Fans can also score a free Hooters-branded pint glass with select purchases beginning March 14.
From now through April 10, busted brackets will meet busted hunger with Hooters new limited-time spring menu featuring two highly-anticipated stuffed burgers. The American Beauty and Texas Torch half-pound burgers are handcrafted from 100 percent American beef and stuffed with a blend of cheddar and American cheeses. On game day, Hooters fans can also take on the new onion ring tower, stacked over a foot tall, or satisfy their craving with an assortment of dessert shooters, including strawberry cheesecake, chocolate decadence, key lime and peanut butter pie.
“As the game clock counts down and brackets are busted across the nation, college basketball fanatics can #StopBracketSadness and let the healing begin at Hooters,” said Carl Sweat, chief marketing officer, Hooters. “Nothing beats March bracket sadness quite like our new stuffed burgers, pitcher specials and all of the fun that only the Hooters Girls can deliver.”
Hooters fans will score a free Hooters-branded pint glass with the in-store purchase of an onion ring tower or select pitchers of beer at participating Hooters locations from March 14 through April 5. Applicable purchases vary by location, while supplies last.
