On Monday, July 16, Hooters of Tacoma will re-open its doors after a full scale remodeling. The newly renovated store is 4200 square feet and has seating for over 338 guests. The restaurant features 29 Hi-Definition flat screen televisions, 40 tap handles and a full liquor bar.
"It is very exciting to re-open this location on Monday and celebrate nearly ten years of serving food and fun in Tacoma," said Rick Leukert, Chief Executive Officer. "We couldn't be happier to be a part of this great community."
Hooters of Tacoma originally opened in December of 2002 before going through the month long renovation. The store officially closed for a week to finalize the overhaul and will kick off its re-opening with two weeks of celebratory events and specials, including "Free Wings for a Year" given to the first 50 guests on Monday, July 16th and a free meal for all Military Personnel on Monday, July 23rd. Hooters is involved with many charities and organizations nationwide, including the Kelly Jo Dowd Breast Cancer Foundation and the Tom Valentine Foundation supporting Operation Homefront. Since the inception, Hooters has donated over $8 million to causes nationwide through HO.C.E.F, the Hooters Community Endowment Fund.
