Hooters of America, LLC has named Hooters of Raleigh, NC Hooters Kitchen Crew of the Year. The highly coveted award is given to the top Hooters kitchen crew in the country based on safety awareness, performance and productivity.
Hooters of Raleigh was nominated by the Hooters of America regional team and was chosen, along with 4 other nominees, as quarterly winners of 2011. After a visit from Hooters Corporate representatives, the Hooters of Raleigh was ultimately selected to represent the company as Hooters Kitchen Crew of the Year 2012.
"The kitchen crew plays such an important role of the whole Hooters experience and I am proud of the Raleigh crew for setting the bar high," said Blair Pender , Director of Operations for Hooters of America, LLC. "It is great to see the kitchen crew is recognized for their hard work and dedication to the concept."
Along with the title, the crew was awarded $10,000 to split amongst the staff, a custom belt buckle and a plaque that will remain in the restaurant for the entirety of the year. This is the 2nd time the Raleigh area has received this award, after the Hooters of Raleigh Airport (Mooresville) was named Hooters Kitchen Crew of the Year in 2009.
